Country Monitoring Dashboards Workshop and Pilot Tool Development
IHI collaborated with the SCTG’s Evidence and Learning Working Group (ELWG) to review the Country Monitoring Dashboard (CMD) to refine its data sources, indicators, and visual presentation, making it a more standardized and user-friendly tool for tracking self-care policy implementation. This process is built on stakeholder feedback, and a workshop facilitated by IHI in the PSI HQ in Nairobi. The revised CMD will then be piloted in Kenya with user testing informing its roll out across the SCTG’s focus countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda and Zambia.

Trailblazing the Path to Self-Care
In collaboration with the Self-Care Trailblazer Group (SCTG), IHI documented the SCTG's learning journey in a visually engaging format, providing comprehensive design and data visualization support. This included capturing significant milestones achieved during the implementation of their 2021-2025 strategy, particularly through partnerships with national self-care network leads. These efforts aimed at advocating for the adoption of WHO guidelines into national self-care frameworks and integrating these guidelines into national health systems.

Sexual and Reproductive Health Self-Care Measurement Tool
In collaboration with the Evidence and Learning Working Group of the Self-Care Trailblazer Group, IHI co-created a practical Sexual and Reproductive Health Self-Care Measurement Tool. This tool serves as a vital resource for policymakers and implementers, enabling them to effectively monitor and evaluate their self-care programs. To ensure its development addressed critical needs, IHI facilitated an expert working group meeting with over 70 experts specializing in self-care measurement.
